Skiing in St. Moritz – An unforgettable experience!

Skiing in St. Moritz is truly different. Engadin St. Moritz is one of the largest ski destinations in Switzerland. Four big and seven smaller Swiss ski resorts have joined forces to present you with a tremendous range of different opportunities. Explore carving paradises, freeride areas, beginner slopes and glacier runs!

In the following article, I would like to introduce you to three of the skiing areas:

Corvatsch Furtschellas – A skier’s heaven!

Those who are looking for a challenge will love the  Corvatsch Furtschellas ski resort. When leaving the gondola at 3,303 meters, a stunning panorama is awaiting you. All in all the resort offers 76 km of varied intermediate trails. Here boredom is unknown! In addition, the fun is not over after sunset: Corvatsch Furtschellas is home of the longest lighted trail in Switzerland.

Corviglia – A wonderland for beginners and snowboarders!

Beginners love Corviglia. There are three ski schools available where dedicated staff will help you to become a confident skier or snowboarder. Moreover, there is a great network of blue trails which means beginners are also able to explore the entire terrain. Early birds can already start skiing at 7:45 a.m.  In addition, there is a great terrain park for freestylers and those who want to become one. It offers everything you need: rails, kickers, tabletops and much more. Mellow park is known as one of the best parks in Europe!

Pizzet Zous – The perfect spot for families!

Zous is a quiet place and thus the perfect spot for families with little children. The ski area offers 12 km of wide open trails, sunny slopes, a kids park and a snowpark. It is located at the mountain Pizzet (2465 meters). Due to its rather small size it is easy to find each other. Yet, there is lots more to do than only skiing. Go ice skating or take a sleigh ride! Snuggled up under warm blankets you will glide though a wonderful winter world. All in all Pizzet Zous is a great alternative to the bigger, sometimes overcrowded places.
