Fun. It is a word that is over used and cliche in snowboarding, but it is the only word that fully describes ‘Bad Seeds’, the latest offering by Nitro. The story? There isn’t one, unless simply shredding around the world in search of ‘good times’ classes as one!

I can honestly say this is one of the most enjoyable snowboarding films I have seen in a while and it takes me back to the original shred movies before the age of the epics. It was very Volcom-esque, complete with interjected weird animations and a kick arse soundtrack.
With the vast amount of talented riders on show, Carlsberg would quote ‘Bad Seeds’ as probably the best snowboarding trip with your mates ever! Especially with all the antics, on and off the mountains, including the whole crew charging over the hill like a scene from Braveheart, before descending down the slope and through the park like a frenzied mob high on happy pills.
With an obvious camaraderie within the group, they were pushing each other to go further resulting in some gnarly rag dolls, slams and face plants; then jubilation when it eventually pays off and they nail some sick tricks. Nitro used the world as their playground; from their wild antics in Canada, to entertaining the locals in Kashmir and Russia with some improvised street jams, including some insane rail sessions.
Watching Bad Seeds is certainly not the shabbiest way to spend half an hour of your day and in doing so, will give you a craving to getting back out there on the slopes to create your own good times. Click play and go watch – it’s free!
