The English Slopestyle, Moguls and Ski/Snowboard Cross Championships are back for 2017 and will be bigger and better than ever as they move to a new venue; Snozone, Castleford.
Showcasing the best freestyle ski and snowboard talent in the country, the three English Championships will run in May, June, July 2017, and are key dates on the UK snowsports calendar.
The three Championships not only allow young athletes at the top of their sport to challenge for the English titles, they also provide an excellent foundation for skiers and snowboarders new to competition to gain event experience and progress their snowsports career. The move to Snozone in Castleford will also allow for some exciting changes to the competition formats, which should make the events even more exciting for the young athletes.
The dates for this year’s English Championships at Snozone Castleford are as follows:
- 20th May 2017, English Moguls Championship
- 17th June 2017, English Slopestyle Championships
- 29th July 2017, English Ski & Snowboard Cross Championships
Ian Findlay, Talent Lead at Snowsport England added:

We have had wonderful support from Chill Factore over the last few years, but for 2017 the change in venue will allow us to refresh the event and ensure we are running the best possible events for all levels of athletes.”
